There was a little webcam exitement this morning, with a sighting of a large steam cloud downbasin. It turned out to be... Grotto. Bijou continues to chug away when I've seen it lately.<BR>

The Fan & Mortar marker was still in place this morning; the tracks of perhaps four wolves were probably the reason 70+ bison were bunched up in front of the Inn for a while.<BR>
<BR>
In most spots, the snow is to bench height: 39 inches officially today. That may have led to the end of two long benches at Riverside; bison may have walked from deep snow to weak, old bench, and the benches lost.<BR>
<BR>
There are at least 8 bison carcasses in and near the basin.<BR>
