<DIV>Although this note is not geyser related, just kind of an interesting
note. Today at 16:45, our tour viewed a grizzly bear, just north of
Yellowstone's Gallatin District between mm 38-39 (we are going to have the exact
mileage and hopefully photos tomorrow. The boar had been feeding on an elk
carcass which is on the ice of the river. The bear was quite groggy and looking
like he was ready for a nap. </DIV>

<DIV>Bill Warnock, if your are skiing tomorrow, he was in the large pullout,
just north of the "s" curve north of the Cinnamon Lodge.</DIV>

<DIV>We also had a Mountain Lion sighting last week in the Gallatin District
just south of Divide Lake.</DIV>
