Yesterday someone asked on the webcam chat page whether it was possible for Old Faithful to have consecutive short intervals. A response "Yes" was posted. (Naturally, it's a geyser, it can do whatever it wants whenever it wants.)<BR>
<BR>
However, consecutive short intervals have been very infrequent. The most recent set of consecutive short intervals was on December 29, 1996. The most recent medium-medium set of intervals was on March 1, 1997 with consecutive intervals of 64 minutes and 67 minutes. Finally, the most recent set of Medium-Short, or Short-Medium was September 29,1996.<BR>

The other data I collected while doing this search will be written up in a short article for the June issue of The Sput.<BR>
