<p class="MsoNormal">At Biscuit Basin, the water in Black Diamond was lightly opaque but clear enough to see several inches into the pool. It does not appear that it has erupted in the past 7-10 days. Avoca Spring is very active. I witnessed one eruption
that reached about 12 feet high and hit the boardwalk. There is evidence that Avoca is having larger eruptions as the runoff channel is being used. In the 10 minutes I was in the area I did not witness an eruption that put any water down this channel. The
boardwalk crew is currently replacing the trail from the Firehole River bridge to Sapphire Pool.<o:p></o:p></p>
