I've placed and replaced various markers on Fan & Mortar since I've been back, though I've not been able to check them as often as I would have liked. It does appear to be erupting often though. I won't detail the dates now, but we placed a new one December 10, and Steve Ballou just replaced it today, December 14. There was new snow in the area, so it apparently didn't just erupt. <BR>

In general the basin has a lot of new drifting, and more snow is coming. The park has switched today to over-snow travel, and is mostly opening for the winter season tomorrow December 15.<BR>
