Greetings and Salutations,

Yea, I know this is late, but I'm lazy. The usual geyser activity has been reported so I was just going to add a few odds and ends. By the way, I want to thank Lynn, Ben, Scott, Barbara, and everyone else who has kept me up to date on the daily activity in my favorite spot on earth.
As you could have pieced together from the reports Little Brother has been active all summer erupting once or twice a minute every time I stop to watch. In September I noticed that Basin Spring on the other side of Three Sisters was low with no overflow and water out of sight. I did not stay in the area for long, so I have no idea if it was doing anything else.
Bronze Spring continues to be active in some fashion. From the 5th until mid week it was quietly bubbling with a steady small overflow. Towards the end of the week I often saw it several inches below overflow. However I do not know if it was erupting or just boiling strong in between.
There is a new (or at least to me new) little spring by Wave Spring. If you are on the boardwalk (and where else would you be?) it is to the right and back a bid, just next to the hillside break. I stopped to watch it a few times, it was not erupting, but some times it is boiling and overflowing, other times it is quiet and an inch or two below overflow.
On September 5th when I was out looking in the Fountain area Jelly Geyser was cloudy. It cleared by the next day. I don't think it was caused by run off from Spasm but I do not know for sure. By the way, Fountain continues to be quite regular with intervals around six hours. Morning's thief continues to usually give two to three series of bursts during the first 8-10 minutes of Fountain's eruption.
The little geyser recently dubbed "The Mouth" is the geyser I first saw in the spring a couple of years ago. At the time I was calling it "Uphill Geyser" because it was the only feature in GHG-3 that was uphill of the boardwalk. I first saw it the same week that Sunlight Geyser appeared (or reappeared). The vent has gotten bigger over time and it does look like a mouth.
I concur with everything in Graham's West Thumb report. Twin Geyser and the area around Ledge geyser are hotter and more active. I hope this will develop into something, but I guess I have been hoping for that for many years now.

It hasn't been a bad summer for Penta. OK, not as good as some years but when I've been in the park Penta has erupted once or twice a week.

Rocket Majors have been relatively frequent and Spa has been more frequent too. I guess that is some consulation for Giant's Vacation.

Bye 'til I think of something else to say.
