<div>The geyser announcement channel is FRS 4-5. I don’t recall that we have a written protocol, but the goal is to minimize personal chatter. Usually, personal contacts are initiated by “person’s name, please switch to 5 (or 4)”. On most radios, the
switch to another channel with the same sub-channel is convenient.</div>
