Hello,

Just an add on about Castle Geyser. On 5-1-09 Butch saw Castle do a three minute minor at 1818 I think. I did not remember to write down the time, but I am relatively sure it was 1818. Overnight no other eruptions show on the temp monitor and Castle was not seen again until 1630 VR, Polly Panos saw it just a few minutes after that. It was a Major. The next eruption on 5-3 was 0824 IE major then from Polly Panos' report there was a major eruption at 1755 e and on 6-4-09 at 1138 e major. That makes a minor to major interval of 22 hours 12 minutes followed by major to major intervals of 15 hrs 54 minutes, 9 hours 31 minutes and 17 hrs 43 minutes. Maybe Castle is changing its eruptive pattern. I suppost it is also possible there were other eruptions the temp monitor did not pick up. I believe Ralph has a different monitor on Castle, it will be interesting to see what it shows for this time period.
