Greetings and Salutations I typed this up once and my computer logged me out while I was doing the final review.  %#%*@^*^#*#^*@(@&#&))! This report is for the period of 10-25 to 11-2-08.  Fountain was very regular with an average interval of 6 hours.  To show this, the afternoon eruptions occurred at 10/25 1319, 10-28 1242, 10-30 1258 vr, 10-31 1411, 11-1 1420, and 11-2-08 1250 ie (end 1322).  The durations were in the 29-34 minute range and all the eruptions occurred from a low pool.  My shortest interval was 5 hr 17 minutes and 6 hr 42 minutes, both on 10-28-08.  Morning's Thief usually (but not always) joined in with 2-3 eruptions starting just after the start of Fountain with a second eruption about 3-4 minutes later and sometimes a third about 4 minutes after that.  Once you are about 10 minutes into Fountain's eruption Morning's Thief is finished.  Spasm usually started somewhere between one hour before Fountain to a minute after Fountain.  Jet continued to be highly variable, sometimes erupting every 6-10 minutes for several hours before Fountain and sometimes not erupting at all until the end of Fountain's eruption.  Super Frying Pan, Bearclaw, and Twig were active in their usual manner.  Clepsydra would usually stop about 5-10 minutes after Fountain finished, then restart after being off for 5 minutes.  It would sometimes have a second pause about five minutes later for about 4-5 minutes.  Celestine and Silex were their usual selves.  Great Fountain was erupting on a 7 AM/7 PM pattern for most of the week.  The morning eruption with no wind was difficult to see thru the steam and the evening eruption was after dark although I did catch one nice eruption by headlights.   I saw Pink Cone ie several times but was not able to catch it at start.  I did not see Pink or Narcissus but others did.  Lynn reported a couple of Labial eruptions.  In Biscuit Basin Avoca Spring continued it eruptions every 1-2 minutes.  I did not stay around long enough to catch Silver Globe Slit if it was still active.  Jewel was active about every 7-8 minutes as was East Mustard Spring.  West Mustard Spring has a higher water level and is bubbling (not boiling) lightly.  Coral still appears to be active deep in the vent with rare periods when droplets of water make it to the surface.  In Black Sand Basin Ragged Spring, Jagged Spring, Spouter Geyser, and Cliff Geyser were active and normal.  The perpetual spouters between Ragged and Green Spring are still active as is BSB-2.  The steam vent to the left of BSB-2 is still active also.  Green Spring is less active than it was earlier this summer.  It only has periods of boiling.  The sinter berm between the pool and the boardwalk continues to be wet to the top of the berm making me think it continues to have periods of increased overflow or surging.  The vent to the east of the boardwalk on the way to Emerald Spring is active with continuous boiling and steady overflow.  Handkerchief Geyser and BSB-5 were active.  "Sunlight Geyser" continues to have occasional splashing to 1-3 feet and there was another geyser erupting farther out from Sunlight that was about 1-1.5 feet high.  Plume was having intervals in the 60-80 minute range for the week.  Lion was normally active.  I do not know if Little Cub was erupting normally but I did see a few normal eruptions.  Depression was seen several times during the week, I am curious what Ralph's logger will show for its intervals recently.  Sawmill was firmly in control of the Sawmill group, there was not one Tardy cycle for the week.  I did replace the marker on Penta on 10-25-08, from talking to others the last time the marker was seen was on 10-18 so it appears Penta did have at least one eruption the week before I arrived.  I watched small eruptions from "Snake Eyes" and "Rattler" on 11-1-08, first snake eyes would erupt to less than a foot, then when they shut off rattler would erupt for a few second, then all would be guiet until snake eyes started again.  The whole cycle took about 2 minutes to 2 minutes 45 seconds.  Economic continues to have periods of overflow followed by a drop in the pool level.  There is no sign it has erupted however.  East Economic is lukewarm at best.  Giant, well, Bijou will shut off for 2-3 minutes now and then, but I never even saw even a foot bath when these pauses occured.  Others did report the occasional footbath however.  I have not heard of a hot period since May.  How Giant managed to erupt twice this summer is beyond me.  Daisy continues to be dependable.  Calculate the interval from the morning electronic times and you know the basic interals for that day.  The intervals were in the 2 hr 5 minute to 2 hr 20 minute range for the week.  Sometimes Splendid would boil 1-3 feet about 10-15 minutes prior to Daisy and also about 5 minutes after Daisy but that was all.  Riverside was mostly having short intervals with one long interval about every two to three days.  The afternoon eruptions had wonderful rainbows whenever there were no clouds.  Sorry, I did not make it to Norris, West Thumb, or the
