Bernhart Owen, and John K. Ego.  Back in <st1:place w:st="on">Yellowstone</st1:place>, Vicki Whitledge, along with Ralph Taylor, continued her study of the Grand Complex with an investigation of the cycles of Turban Geyser and Grand’s pool in 2005 and 2006.  Giant’s recent activity inspired two articles:  Tara Cross’s complete summary of the 2005-2008 active phase, and Tom Magnera’s intriguing analysis of the relationship between Giant and Grotto from 2000-2007.  To go along with articles on Grand and Giant, Jeff Cross shared his ideas on the minor activity of geysers prior to major eruption.  Jeff also contributed a longer article covering his studies of some of <st1:place w:st="on">Yellowstone</st1:place>’s smaller frontcountry and backcountry geysers.  Lynn Stephens wrote a thorough history of Flood Geyser’s eruption patterns showing a relationship between Flood’s duration and the succeeding interval.  Demonstrating that Transactions articles may cover both recent and historical activity, we were pleased to include Mary Ann Moss’s fascinating photographs and personal recollections of Excelsior Geyser’s brief active phase in 1985, and Lee Whittlesey’s delightful history of the stagecoach-era Fountain Hotel.  In addition, the volume features several enlightening shorter articles, from Stephen Eide’s description of “Improbable Geyser” to Ralph Taylor’s summary of Baby Daisy’s activity in 2003-2004.  Stephen Gryc has documented the relatively new activity of “Underhill Geyser,” and Scott Bryan shared his analysis of Narcissus Geyser’s eruption patterns.<o:p></o:p> With such variety of scope and subject material, there is bound to be something in this volume for everyone.  We hope that GOSA associates and others will not only purchase a copy of Volume 10, but consider contributing an article or photographs to Volume 11.<o:p></o:p> The Transactions is truly a collaborative effort and we would like to thank everyone who played a role in making “T10” a reality.  We send a huge thanks to all of our authors, reviewers, and photographers!  We were very impressed by the willingness of GOSA associates to help out, even on short notice, and we could not have done it without you.  We would also like to extend special thanks to Nancy Cross, who proofread all 222 pages.  Once we completed layout, Udo Freund the folks at Four Star Printing were very helpful to us.  Since we now know just how much work goes into producing the Transactions, we would like to extend a final thank you to T.
