If that's a sheet of glass rather than plastic in front of the webcam, they may have an interesting time trying to clean it off. I saw an eruption of Old Faithful that blew onto it a week or so ago, and assume there have been others since. Those specks we're seeing probably consist largely of sinter.
While watching beehive ie at 11:50 a.m., I wonder if there is a program/routine to clean the glass on the streaming webcam?

If there isn't, something GOSA can do or fund?
