Grotto apparently erupted sometime around 2000, so theer something around 10 1/2 hours start to start off a 3-hour eruption. Indeed, 'twas a strange day there.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oblong evidently had a really long interval, as it was never called (or apparently, seen) between dawn and my departure at about 1330.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Daisy was 0753 and 1109.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Grand was 0230ie (HK) and not again until 1132 (T2C). Indications are that Grand is being bimodal, dependent on West Triplet (it more than Rift). No West Triplet, Grand interval 6 to 7 hours; West Triplet in mid- to late-interval, Grand interval 8-10 hours. Recently, there have at best been few intervals between 7 and 8 hours.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Down the valley, Great Fountain had a rather short interval today. There was still some trickling runoff at 0645, but it was well (probably 20 minutes) into overflow at 1350. Eruption at 1449 (P=0). Adequate Fountain only.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Gemini was active at 0650. Pink Cone's surroundings were wet at 0652.
