But as luck had it, while with my group at Fountain Paint Pots, Fountain started eruption at 1027 (very near start). Knowing I had time, I talked here and there a bit, then went out to Fountain Overlook. At 1034, Morning's Thief had an eruption. A BIG eruption. A HUGE eruption. By far the biggest I've seen. No camera to prove it, but my guess is that it was not less than 50 feet high while spraying widely.
