<html><P>It was Cavern Spring, on the east side of the river. If you are standing at Mound Geyser, look to the north across the river. The round large pool at the River's edge and barely above the river level is Bath Spring. The next spring to the north is Cavern Spring, presumably named because the east end of the pool extends into a cavernous hole.</P>
