Beehive had some longer intervals that pushed its eruptions into the mid-afternoon, and Plume is again running between (about) 56 and 70 minutes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yesterday Mary Beth and I enjoyed a most wonderful eruption of Tilt's Baby. The vent nearest the boardwalk is having jetting at an angle (it's tilted, which is nice!) toward Castle with some spray reaching well over 10 feet high (Mary Beth said it looked like 4 feet higher than my head). The duration was 2 1/2 minutes. Still, though, we apparently have not for-sure obtained a closed interval (one of around 1 1/2 hours was reported a while ago, but that was between sightings and not necessarily closed).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yesterday I walked up on the start of Penta in full water-phase major. It's marker had evidently been replaced just the day before. Sawmill started while Penta was still going, and that produced a deep drain.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The last two eruptions of Grand that I've seen (one on each of these days) were both 2 bursts.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Giant is having some decent hot periods. One on the 1st had a reported duration of more than 6 minutes with Mastiff surging to 4 feet; yesterday I caught a hot period of 5m 10s with Mastiff surging to 2 feet with brief but impressive overflow.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Daisy's intervals in the last couple of days have ranged between 2h 11m and 3h 10m.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On 8/1, Steve Eide watched Atomizer for much of a series. Atomizer had been seen from the highway at 0827ie. Then no doubt a couple of minors were missed before minors at 1027, 1134, and 1255, followed by a "quick-comeback" major at 1308.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Black Diamond continues to have eruptions. Visitors saw it reach 20 feet high at 1010 on Tuesday, and their description nicely matches that of other observers. I still haven't seen the stupid thing do anything more than bubble, but the surroundings and rocks are different every time I look. We look forward to the electronic download.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Over the past few days, Lemon Spring had dropped, then refilled at a much higher temperature. Then it began overflow in nearly every direction wasy from the pool. Last weekend, while on tour, it was blue but opaque and had superheated boiling. That stopped, it dropped a bit and cleared, but yesterday it was again a bit murky and bubbling. It does not appear that it has actually erupted, but...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As of yesterday at 1257 (P=7), Great Fountain's previous two intervals had been >15h and 14h 40m.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Either I'm being lucky or Logbridge has grown more active, as I see it with minimal waiting every time I go through there. Durations are quite consistent at 28 to 34 seconds, the height probably 10 to 12 feet.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And unfortunately, Crack seems to be done, that little group being back on Gemini-only function.
