After going over this picture for a long time (and in various sizes), Terry says his best guess is a '57 or '58 model Ford, but possibly as someone already mentioned, the '56 model year. He suspects the <a href="http://www.portholeauthority.com/thunderbirdETC/tbird/wagon.html">Ford Country Sedan</a> or <a href="http://www.stationwagon.com/gallery/1957_Ford_Ranch_Wagon.html.">The Ford Ranch Wagon</a>. His reasons include the size and shape of the hood, shape of the headlights (Chevy had a hood that kind of porched out over the headlights) and the shape of the tail lights (round instead of the Chevy elongated rectangle. </blockquote> FYI: Dress hem lengths began creeping up in 1958-'59 to just below the knee cap.
