<DIV>Looking at the USGS thermal map of Biscuit Basin, there is _nothing_ shown
anywhere near the Firehole River downstream from the footbridge at Biscuit
Basin. Nothing. Mike Keller reported this new geyser as "on the western bank" of
the river. I would request to know how many feet from the river and more
importantly, if it has been checked, is there evidence of any blowout there?
(Bear in mind the 20th Century history of how Black Opal Pool and
Wall Pool formed.)</DIV>
