Occasionally transmissions from the Fountain overlook are heard at Grand, and vice versa. I can usually hear and talk to MaryBeth, Jim, and Kitt from Flood and Till, so I sometimes drove to Flood to send transmissions to the Upper Geyser Basin using the FRS radios. I'd be very interested to see other responses to Paul's inquiry so that we can set up "shifts" if applicable. Next question: How to get the word out if we do see Morning? How far away from Fountain can most radios be heard if we're transmitting from Fountain? How far would we have to drive to get within reception range of other gazers? Is there another way of spreading the word? It would be sad to be there when Morning started, and not be able to tell anybody. -- Bill Johnson On Wed, Aug 15, 2012 at 3:43 PM, Paul Strasser <upperbasin at comcast.net> wrote: Do gazers spend any time at Fountain during the 5-8 hours after a Fountain eruption?
