The rock chipping along the west entrance is progressing well, but it
is still 25 MPH and awaits the lines being painted.
The log pile at the end of the Daisy trail is gone.  The pullout
remains closed, but the work that has been underway since May must be
drawing near a close.

Rod Runners (old and unusual cars) have descended on West Yellowstone.
 The Smoking Waters Rendevous (mountain men) is about to begin.

Today was cooler and breezy on the hill.

Beehive: [8/2 2021 w/ 29 minute indicator] 1109 (indicator @ 1046)
Grand: [8/2 1212e, 1829e], 0057 (0058e), 0719 T1Q (0720e)
No Plume again this AM
Lion: 0550ie, 0644, 0741ns, 0853, 0957, end of series
Little Cub ie @ 0642, 0839, 0919, 0959, 1029, 1111
Depression: 0956
Aurum: 0954
Castle: [8/2 1225e], 0353e
Oblong: 0626ns
Riverside: 0952VR
Daisy: 0738ns
Grotto: 1126ie
White Dome: 0606ie
Dome was active all AM--I saw it ie @ 0630, 0754, 0823, 0926, 0958, 1031, 1140
the "Mouth" feature across boardwalk from Arrowhead Spring was ie @ 1114
I observed 3 Doublet thump cycles with durations of 5-7minutes and
intervals of 36 and 32 minutes
I have yet to see either Mercury or Little Brother this summer.

I have no indication if reports are going thru yet, but here's hoping.
