[Geysers] Norris Geyser Report

I visited Norris on September 6th and 15th.  Nice to see Vixen active and
just before I left I got to see Fireball and Arsenic and a 2 burst Constant
- the first of those reported for a while.

 

9/6/2011

6 Vixen majors, durations 2m 55s to 4m 5s, intervals 45-47m.

Pearl was quiet and overflowing

5 Constant single eruptions, intervals 21 - 43m

 

9/15/2011

6 Vixen eruptions barely getting any overflow, durations ~1m - 2.5m,
intervals 14-27m

Pearl was erupting to about 1' and overflowing

6 constant eruptions (4 single and 1 double), intervals 21 - 24m with the
second burst 2 minutes later

Fireball duration > 56m

Arsenic started 4m after Fireball, duration 21m

 

I did hear other reports about Vixen being active while I was in the park
including majors of 7 minutes or more.
