Thanks for sharing this, Jeff! The geyser is pretty easily found on Google Earth, right near a part of Pyramid Lake called "The Needles." Looks like the only way to visit it is by hiking or driving a dirt road with a high-clearance vehicle. Pyramid Lake is North/Northeast of Reno on State Highway 446. The Needles are on the northwest side of the lake. The erupting geyser is shown in a few Panoramio photos taken in the area.
