I'm forwarding a message from Theresa.  She prefers July 2 or 3, but the location is up for grabs.  Since there may be a few people driving in specifically for the event, we need to select a date.  If we pick a date and location quickly, Genean may be able to get an announcement into the June issue of The Sput.  
 
Since Jan Johns suggested Nez Perce Creek picnic area, let's go with that location.  I suggest we go with 1 pm, Sunday, July 3.  (Early afternoon gives people driving in to Yellowstone specifically for the event time to arrive, and time to get home before dark.)

If, it happens the 2 or 3 would work best.  I had originally wanted Memorial weekend but students of gazers are still in school, and my health has gotten very poor.  I can't do it much later as it truly appears we will be moving.  Joseph's school begins the 3rd week of August. 
The service is more for Joseph than others.  
Having said that, if someone can suggest the best day & place, I will bring cubed roast I have marinated & skewers.  Neither Joseph nor I can digest hot dogs, & Joe won't eat chili.  I don't know if we will still have our 91 pickup still, I can bring a 4 burner bbq assuming we do.  
I hope this message makes sense.  I am using my phone.    
Let me know what will work best for as many as possible.
...this can go to the geyser list.  I am moving to someplace which appears to have jobs, which Montana does not, and where it won't be so terribly cold in the winter!  I will not return to Tulsa, the climate is different than when I was young.
I should feel better in about another week, I let an infection run too long before getting treatment.  It can cause some rather bad things.
