[Geysers] Sad news

Many of you may remember Sam Martinez as a long time geyser gazer starting
in the early 1970's.  I received this message from Theresa Martinez today:

     Sam died this morning at about 3:30am.  He had been very unhappy ever
since his stroke and this was in some ways a welcome release.  
      He will be cremated, and any services may have to wait until March or
April, and Joe & I will try to make it to Yellowstone over Memorial Day
weekend.  
     Right now it looks like Joe & I will be moving back to Tulsa.  I am no
longer tolerating the cold very well, and there are very few jobs here. 
 
I cannot access the geyser list.  I tried to delete my old email address and
add my new one, but somehow I did something wrong. Please let others who
might be interested, know.
