The Beehive eruption at 2005 Sep 12 concluded a 48h interval, which came on the heels of a 66h interval.  There may have been as many as 15 false indicators in those 66 hours.
It can be tough to slog out to The Hill every 3-4 hours for a possible Beehive eruption, but if you do go stay at least until the indicator loses power and erupts at cone height or less.  This usually happens around the 30min mark, but may come later.  Based on last night's eruption, weak, thin, feathery initial Beehive splashes at the 24m mark and beyond of the indicator don't mean it won't erupt. Last night it was 31m into the indicator when huge surges started the eruption.  So stick it out at least until the indicator loses power.  Good luck!
