What I saw while I was there on September 2 was Son of Green Dragon, which was jetting outward (to the west) as far as the trees -- quite impressive. I did not notice anything at all from Daughter of Green Dragon. You are sure that it wasn't Son of Green Dragon. That would be more likely behavior from that feature. Son is on the right (as you face from Pearl toward the old trail) and Daughter on the left.
