Today was quite cloudy and overcast in the Park. Temperature was 23 when I arrived at Upper Basin at around 0900; clouds lifted, and sun shone thru broken clouds at around 1100, but winds were brisk, and the temp never got above freezing. I saw a total of 5 people on Geyser Hill all morning, and I was the only car in the Old Faithful Inn/Lower Hams parking lots most of the day. I'll start with 10/27 times: Plume 0807ie 0915 1018 1130 1233 1342 1442 1548 Grand 0316E 1442ns (despite LONG interval, was only 1 burst) Castle 2217E maj (10/26) 1216ns maj Depression 1043 1430 Daisy 1127 Riverside 1130ie Oblong 1337ns West Triplet 1233ie Aurum 1443ie Beehive splashed encouragingly all day but had not gone as of 1635 Fan & Mortar marker was replaced this morning; last replaced on 10/24 Other information from log book and rangers: 10/24 Daisy 0144 0426 0709 0945 1227 1517 2347 (All times E, AND Ranger Barbara Hoppe said the 8 1/2 hour interval was what the monitor showed!
