David, Just a guess, but while watching Fountain in 2000, Rocco P. was excited to see ?"Old Cone Geyser" erupting. It didn't jet sideways, but I know things can change. It is on the upper level near A Fumerole (across the boardwalk toward the northern edge of the hill). At about 16 seconds in, it shifts to something else. Something erupting at a sharp angle away from a boardwalk, with a blue pool across from it, and a small brownish basin in the right foreground. The surroundings look like Lower Basin, but I sure don't recognize the features.
