I did. Everything down there was quiet.

Did you happen to go down in the area by the Anemones or across the river
near Blue Star or Chinese Spring and do any geyser gazing?

I was there on Thursday and can confirm that it was quite windy. Based on
what I observed that day, I believe the steam cloud in question is actually
from Old Faithful. It was blowing quite strong left to right late in the day
when the pictures were captured.

Most of those shots could be explained away as either steam from Plume
(several are clearly on the far side of the boardwalk) or blowing steam from
Old Faithful. The only feature in that area other than Plume is "Pathetic
Little Hole" / "Improbable." Given the amount of attention Beehive is
getting due to its short intervals, if Improbable is doing anything
substantial and frequent, it'd be pretty surprising if no local observers
noticed it.

07/09/2010. They may not be significant and they may not all show the same
thing. You can make up your own mind. This was more likely the third day
we saw this and it seems to happen once a day in a series over about an
hour. On two of the pictures the time is included, other wise the file name
is randomly numbered. Inez
