[Geysers] No Fan and Mortar yet as of 6/30/2010 2130

   Fan and Mortar had two event cycles yesterday, 6/30.  The first was as
41-minute Gold pause at 1047, and the second, 31-minute classic pause at
2025, right as a thunderstorm hit the basin.

   Both pauses included nearly continuous eruptions of Arch / Bottom Vent,
with massive overflow.

   Regarding the bears, a gazer accidentally left a piece of equipment on
the trail near Artemesia a couple of nights ago.  Yesterday morning, he went
out looking for it and found it chewed and thoroughly slobbered on.  On the
strength of that evidence, having not seen Carolyn's update yet, I strongly
discouraged anyone from staying out at Fan and Mortar last night.
