Yes, Fan and Mortar erupted this evening. Dean called me to ask that I relay
the news. He was returning from Artemisia when he noticed that Bottom Vent
was in full eruption with River Vent on. Gold was trying to come on. Gold
started at 1957 and Dean said he radioed, "Lock at 2010". The Lock lasted for
6 minutes and Dean wondered if it would just die out on him, but it kept
getting better. Fan and Mortar erupted at 2016. The duration was at least 28
minutes with dark approaching rapidly. (If I did my math correctly this was
an interval of 3 days, 8 hours, and ~43 minutes.) Go Fan and Mortar! This is
a relay for Dean from Fan and Morter by Kitt Barger
