For my part, witnessed Dome starts,yes, four or five times. On one of those, bursting that appeared to be nearly a steady, massive roiling/almost jetting with a few pulses up to 20 or so feet high. The others were smaller but still put out an impressive amount of water for the first minute or so... Two or three years ago, rangers witnessed a start that they (or at least one) said was at least 30 feet high. These observations pretty well match what Marler reported.
