I started the day with Beehive with no one else on Geyser Hill to enjoy it with me. I was going to try to get to Geyser Hill for this afternoon's Beehive also, but I was at Castle when I saw the water column rise. I was able to get into position to verify that the afternoon eruption started without an Indicator. Grand this afternoon had lovely rainbows and tried really, really hard to have a second burst, but couldn't quite get there. The weather hasn't turned cold yet this evening, although there were clouds in the sky (but no dramatic sunset, just a tiny bit of pink). Most people are hoping for snow to dampen down the Arnica Creek fire, which still has the road from Bridge Bay to West Thumb closed.
