[Geysers] Firehole flow data vs. geyser activity

USGS publishes flow data for the Firehole and other rivers http://waterdata.usgs.gov/wy/nwis/uv/?site_no=06036805&PARAmeter_cd=00065,00060

Has anyone considered making use of these data in relation (or lack thereof) to geyser activity?
