John, At one time GOSA was investigating webcam issues, and as I recall, the Inn was rejected because there was no electric power in the winter season. Other than that, it is indeed a great vantage point. Would it be too optomistic to think about having a 2nd camera installed on the roof of the Inn? It would open up so many more possibilities for WATER confirmation and not leave me, or any other gazer, guessing on which geyser was producing the steam cloud behind the ridge. I certainly think that if GOSA has some funds to help the NPS with, this would be a great way to help.
