Today's story is one that Lynn tellsw us is something previously seen by
Mary Beth. If so, I look forward to what she might say...

Yesterday Grand finally erupted at 1655 (T2*Q), an interval of 10h 44m (a
rather common interval these days). Unfortunately when the next eruption was
(if any -- yes, probably there was) is unknown, as the NPS people were
unable to get the data shuttle to work this morning. However, this morning at
0600 Grand was already in good overflow, implying an eruption sometime before
0200 at the latest. As the day went on, interval after interval, Turban and
Grand did odd things. Turban intervals ranged from 15 to 22 minutes. On at
least two occasions Grand failed to overflow during the cycle, and it
uniformly dropped well befofre Turban. There were (at least) five consecutive
occurtrences of low-pool waves. And quite frankly, Grand _never_ looked at all
threatening until the last cycle:
Grand 1301 (G2Q), interval definitely in excess of 11 hours. What a way to
kill much of the day.

Plume: given the long Grand sit, I recorded just two intervals, of 61 and
72 minutes.
Beehive's Indicator 0533ie, Beehive 0543.
Lion 1132 ini, 1302.
Aurum 1038.
Castle 0929 minor. It had a major last evening, but I don't seem to have
the time. The pattern over the past about-3 days has been:
major-minor-minor-major-minor-minor-major-minor. Today, it still had not had another eruptions
(of either variety) as of 1535.
Churn 0904, a single eruption. Penta twice looked as if it might be
thinking of an eruption, but it failed to produce.
Oblong 1023.
Grotto 1004 with NO Grotto Fountain. It was off at 1208 per Ben Hoppe...
Note about yesterday's eruption, which started at 1042 and ended before 1245.
There was no additional eruption as of 2145 last night.
Daisy 0604ie, 0816, 1024, 1233.
Riverside 0705 and 1302.
Atomizer major called by Barbara Lasseter at 1105.

Fountain 0605ie, end 0631; and 1251ns.
Great Fountain 1353 (P=4, OV=90).
