So June comes in with May weather: hard rain last night, temp 35 this
morning with light rain all day until hard rain starting around 1430. Temp up to
47 on the drive out. "Unsettled" weather with possible snow showers in late
night-early morning are forecast through this week.
Plume was running long today. I had scattered closed intervals of 82, 72,
and 75 minutes.
We estimated Beehive to have been between 2200 and 0000 last night, and it
erupted "on schedule": Indicator 1337, Beehive 1348.
Depression (yay) 1335ns (which is why no "water in the Indicator" was
called).
Lion 0723 initial, 0852, 1027ie, 1152 minor, 1220.
Aurum 0706, 1056, 1436.
Castle has a minor last evening at 1737 and a major at 21xx ie. Today
Castle was 1100ie major.
The Sawmill Group was undergoing Tardy Cycles all day but Penta never
erupted (as of about 1430). However, there was a Churn at 1008.
Grand 0551 and 1418 (T1Q). As has been happening a lot lately, Grand held
water in the crater for an agonizingly long time after the single burst
before it drained... West Triplet was 0935ie, and Rift was 1000ie and off before
1130. Perhaps Rift had a minimal effect on Grand because it took place only
about halfway through the interval. But since Grand erupted with Rift
yesterday, maybe things are changing.
Oblong sometime around 0900 (that is, during breakfast).
Grotto 0730ie, end between 1010 and 1030.
Daisy 0553, 0815, 1028, 1243.
Riverside 0533ie and 1118.
Fand and Mortar were having relatively short (30-40 minutes) but
well-organized cycles this morning.
Artemisia 0805ie.
Fountain 0712ie, end 0740.
Great Fountain 0950.
Pink Cone 1012.
Pink 1505ie.
Narcissus 1511 start.
