One thing you mentioned bears comment:  

"At 22 minutes, Beehive gave a nice large HEAVE, only to not erupt."

That was a common attribute to false indicators:  the weird heave, coupled
with an odd whooshing noise that sounded almost mechanical.  But when that
happened the indicator often quit rather soon after the whoosh.  And in your
case it obviously didn't quit.

I'm also hopeful that it's a Giantess effect.  And perhaps someone can
check, but I don't think mid-cycle indicators are absolutely unknown since
Beehive was last dormant.
