I went out in the geyser basin after lunch.  As I was skiing from the Visitor Center towards the Inn, I noticed Beehive Indicator erupting (1122 ie), so I called it in to Carolyn, and skied closer.  As I was heading down the path towards Beehive Observation platform, Lion started (1123).  I decided the bare asphalt there was a good of a place as any to watch Beehive from, and it started at 1126.  Towards the end of Beehive, I glance to my left and notice that Grand is erupting (1131ie), so I head back to the bike path and towards Lower Hams, to get a better view.  While I was watching Grand, I glance back over my shoulder, and Old Faithful is erupting (1136ie).  Grand finished at 1140.

So how often have any of you caught 4 of the largest geysers in the basin in the space of less than 15 minutes?

After that, I wasn't sure what else I could possibly catch!  I headed down basin anyway.  At Daisy, there was water in the cone, but it wasn't bubbling much.  Riverside was dry.  The marker seems to be missing from Fan and Mortar.  Grotto started while I was down at Fan and Mortar (sometime between 1200 and 1220).  I was surprised to see it start, because the water in Marathon Pool was pretty far down.  Bijou was going constantly, like usual lately.

Wind was picking up, and we are finally getting some much needed snow.  I carried my skis as much as I skied on them.
