[Geysers] BBC Show (Schwarz)

There is a pretty good chance that it will be released in Region 1 too.  Many BBC films are shown as Discovery programs, and they get US releases.  Might get the extra 10 minutes on each one too :-)
My player plays Region 2, but if it is missing the geyser footage, I may wait and see what else comes..

The fact that its coded Region 2 (PAL)
means most of our machines in this country won’t be able to play it.

     The BBC people told us that the geyser gazer segment
would probably never be seen in the
 United States because each hour of
programming has about 10 minutes of commercials.  The 3 shows about
Yellowstone are 50 minutes long and each one has a 10-minute "extra"
so in the UK 
it fills the whole hour (without commercials).  The extra 10 minutes can
easily be dropped when shown on Discovery or other American channels.  It
appears that the only way to see the segments with Jeff Henry and the geyser
gazers is to buy the DVD with all 3 parts.  I do not know when this DVD
might be available.
