And furthermore ... on September 13, Avoca was vigorously active. I did not time any intervals, but they were on the order of 2 to 3 minutes with what seemed to be a series similar to what was seen years ago -- that is, a few small eruptions followed by one (only one) that was very much stronger, the entire cycle requiring 15-20 minutes. for the record, on that visit to the area I also saw both Sentry and Outpost erupt, and there was one eruption of Sentry that was NOT accompanied by Outpost. Aslo (I think I posted this), a "new" geyser was seen just a few feet beyond Outpost. It was not Green Bubbler, which was visible as a quiet pool, nor Yellow Bubbler, which couldn't be seen at all. I was at Avoca on 9/5 and saw what I would consider "normal" behavior based on what I'd seen previously in 2008. It was erupting about every 2 minutes with some variation in the strength of the eruptions. So it was still erupting as of 9/5. --Tara Cross fanandmortar at hotmail.com **************Looking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges?
