Twin has NOT erupted. It is boiling much the same as it did for many years
before it cooled off a few years ago.

Was there ever any closure on this? I spent some time at West Thumb
last week while on an all-too-brief trip (9/15-19), and the ranger on
scene didn't know anything about a Twin eruption and doubted that one
had occurred. Twin was certainly the most energetic that I have ever
seen it, with continuous heavy boiling, but that was about all. The
rest of the basin struck me as quieter than it had been at the same
time of year in 2007.
