I meant to mention in today's geyser report that this photo made page 2 of the May 2 issue of West Yellowstone News. Perhaps this will elevate the photographers status in the in the realm of his ... errr.. other brother.

  Hi All,

  The attached photo of Opal Pool at Midway G.B. was taken by Bill Warnock last week.  He asked me to send it on to the listserv (thanks to Pat Snyder for re-sizing it).  As can be seen in the photo, Opal is full and overflowing and the water is quite clear.  It will be nice to have another pretty pool at Midway rather than a big empty hole.
