I spent most of today in the Lower Basin, so have rather little to report from the UGB: Bijou was just starting to show water around 0700, but by that time there was already some jetting in Catfish and Giant; also, the GIP was standing at about the "elbow" =/- an inch or two. Grotto was off. Saw no Oblong. Daisy 0906, Riverside 0924ie. The "Sputniks" were active at 0912. Grand 0921 (T2C). Castle had a minor in the night and had not erupted as of about 1000. Lion 0716 minor at the end of a series. Beehive, reported by others, as Indicator 1032, Beehive 1047. Dome was still active this morning. In the LGB, interesting stuff with Pink Cone, to wit: Aug 25, 1844 start Aug 26, 0922 ie (probably near start), interval about 14 1/2 hours ! Aug 27, 0646 start, interval about 21 1/2 hours. But did something happen in between the 0922 and the 0646? Apparently, nobody was out there at all last evening. Narcissus 1138, full pool long eruption. Fountain 1047. Great Fountain 1357 (OV = 87, P = 7). Scott Bryan **************It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Find your travel deal here.
