[Geysers] geyser report Wed 8-13-08

Beehive was 0902 on 8/12 and again overnight.  I did not see a splash from
the cone til after noon.  Cool and cloudy day after 31degree drive in and
frosty boardwalks again.  The wildflowers had a VERY short season this
summer.

Plume intervals of 113 (double interval), 56, 64, and 59 minutes--1 eruption
this AM has 6 bursts instead of the usual 5.
Lion: 0536ie, and splashing well by noon again.
Aurum: 1305
Castle: 0545ie steam
Grand: 0824 D3T1q after a 32minute turban cycle ending at 0722 with heavy
Grand overflow, but no eruption
Oblong: 1219ie
Grotto: 0929
Grotto Fountain: 0916
Great Fountain: 0803
Fountain: 0733ns, 1411 d=32 minutes
  No spasm, SFP x 5 minutes at 1332, Jet at 6 minute cycles after SFP, but
not doing much prior ( approx 3 in 90 minutes per Jim Scheirer).  Morning's
Thief had a couple of bursts near the start of the Fountain eruption (1412)
and again to 30+feet at 1421 briefly.  If there was more activity there, the
steam blocked it from my view.
