That's for the Beehive note. I asked the Visitor Center when was the last
seen Beehive and they said 9/27, so I spent yesterday afternoon watching for
Beehive after watching a Fountain eruption and driving back and forth
checking on Great Fountain whose pool crashed twice. I finally abandoned
Beehive and returned one more time to Great Fountain to see a huge steam
cloud as I entered the drive. That was at 1727 ie. When I got to the
parking lot, I asked some visitors that had talked to me earlier about Great
Fountain. They said someone that had seen many eruptions, said the start
was at 1725. Apparently they had a nice spike to ~140 or 150 feet that
wowed them all. Anyway I was suspicious that Beehive hadn't erupted earlier
since it was thought to have last erupted on the 27th. Watch for Beehive
today! Kitt
