I actually spent most of the day in the Lower Basin. In the UGB, the only item of significance is that Grand erupted at 0522E and finally again at 1444 (T2Q). Early along Firehole Lake Drive: Logbridge at 0926 for a duration of 29s. Jeff Davis reported Narcissus at 0841 (long), so I went in to catch the next eruption. It started at 1110 (d ~ 5 1/2m) and was also enjoyed by a bison. See photo attached. Bead at 0955, 1016, 1037 and ie1059. Notice that it is now persistently having intervals in the low 20s. Pink 1025. Pink Cone 1053. Then, Fountain at 1237 (d = 30m). Morning's Thief had huge bursts right at the 1237 start and at 1241. While waiting there I saw one eruption by NTFL, at 1150. Late in the LGB, Great Fountain was at 1539 (P = 0) and for the second consecutive day, it had a superburst. Scott Bryan P.S. There probably was a disturbance at Norris. Several geysers had unusual performances on Thursday, such as an all-day (at least, nearly non-stop) eruption by Vixen. Most notable, sometime during the night of Wednesday-Thursday, Ledge erupted. And that's about all I know. ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
