Looking at the image it appears that the Indicator was active during the eruption. Which, of course, does not answer the question as to whether or not it was in eruption before the eruption. Do note that in the past week or so, on the two Beehives that were directly observed, the Indicator was active for roughly 5 minutes before the eruptions but to heights of not more than 5 feet.
