Much of today was spend down-basin, so times for Geyser Hill features are via others. Thanks especially to Graham for the early times The Grotto marathon of yesterday ended at about 0540 today, so a duration of something near 21-22 hours. As of my departure from the area at around 1530, the recovery had not yet taken place. Daisy was 0503, 0736, and 1010. Oblong 0638 and 1216. Grand 0401E and 1025 (2 bursts), so a short interval of 6h 24m. Penta was 0650ie. Castle's eruption at 0238 was a minor. The follow-up major was at 1012. Unfortunately, the prediction board failed to recognize the minor and then was not changed after the major, so that there was a large crowd at Castle around 1500. Lion 0653ie and 0801. Depression 0857ie. Plumes at 0718, 0807, 0856, --------; 1108, 1151. Firehole Lake Drive opened this morning before 0700. We enjoyed Great Fountain at 1350, not a superburst but a beautiful, large eruption. Gemini is active with frequency, being seen mostly on intervals of 9 to 11 minutes with occasional 18-20 minute intervals thrown in (these are not doubles). Pink Cone had erupted not terribly long before 0700, meaning maybe 0500-0530. MA and David saw Pink at 1201. Fountain was 1233ns.
