BORN-AGAIN GEYSERS

Old geysers buried by a landslide in Russia's Valley of the Geysers have
sprung back to life after the lake, formed when millions of tons of mud and
rock dammed the valley, subsided. The World Wildlife Fund reported that the
geysers seemed unaffected by their temporary obliteration. "They're spewing
water and steam skyward with all their former zeal," it said.
