The briefest of reports. I had a tour yesterday and saw essentially nothing at all. Today I had a short tour (the passengers let off at the OF Lodge for their reservation tonight). Free in the afternoon but needing to get back to town, I was able to spend a bit of time along Firehole Lake Drive. Fountain was 0925ie as we drove across Fountain Flat. It quit well before we got up the boardwalk but, interestingly, Clepsydra stopped shortly after Fountain ended, restarted for about 5 minutes, quit again when we were there and this time did not restart until we were leaving the parking lot. In both the morning and early afternoon, Gemini was near full and pulsing but did not erupt. Pink Cone was 1243ie. Since it was seen Friday morning at 0457ie, this multiple interval of 55h 46m equates (no doubt) to three intervals with an average of about 18 1/2 hours. While there, Labial was at 1301. It made no attempt at a follow-up eruption. That's it! Scott Bryan P.S. Note that Jens Day's monitor times for Giant show that the supposed 21+ day interval in March-April was actually two intervals of 6d 18h and 15d 02h. My eruption list and chart will be amended. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
